A literature review aims to review the critical points of

current knowledge on a particular topic.

The Literature Review

The goal is to bring the reader up to date

with current literature on a topic and to form the basis for future research that may be needed in the area.

Product vs Process

What the process entails

Finding a relevant topic

Determining good keywords

Searching the literature

Reading, taking notes

Writing up the review(while citing accurately

the documents you found)

Concluding on the research possibilities on the subject

Number 1 Tip: get a notebook
