Triggers Triggers are used in video games

to make something happen in the level.

This would include the events that you use to open or close a door or to use an active prop.

Triggers will also be used to make a character seek and destroy the player as they try to complete the level.

Triggers Mission Maker uses six different categories of trigger which are:

Spatial Trigger Object Clicked

State Trigger Global Trigger

Speech Trigger Shot by Player

Into a room or trigger volume Actual object or nearby object

State of something changes Score, time, start of game

Character delivering speech media Shoot an object or character

You must use a variety of triggers to make your doors open and close.

You must take a screenshot of each trigger and add it into your evidence.

Add some suitable doors into your game to meet the client requirements and create screenshot evidence of: Door Style Door Triggers

Your Task

Show evidence of changing the properties such as the speed of opening and closing if you have changed these.

If you use any active props to interact with the door show evidence of the triggers on these e.g. pulling a lever.
