is when you concentrate and pay close attention to something you want to do or to learn

is when you are in a relax state. You let your mind go free with no worries or constrains

Creativity is just connecting things. When you ask creative people how they did something, they feel a little guilty because they didn’t really do it, they just saw something. It seemed obvious to them after a while. That’s because they were able to connect experiences they’ve had and synthesize new things

Based on our evolution, our memory has developed itself to serve us during millions of years for activities such as hunting, hiding from other predators, looking for shelter, etc. Thus, we have develop a very advanced sensorial and spacial memory.

If you want to remember something, imagine how it looks, feels, sounds, smells. The more you exaggerate the better easier it would be to remember. Make the memory as emotional as possible, you can imagine something funny. Use your creativity

Using a technic call the memory palace can help you remember thing in an specific order or list of items

Take each item of the list you want to remember and place them in a memory of a place you know very well, like your home

Procrastination

Procrastination happens when you have to do something that you don’t want to.

Your brain is looking for any excuse to avoid pain and look for pleasure, this is why procrastination is consider to have similar features with addiction.

Why

The brain has to do something thatit is to difficult to understand, or it requires to much concentration, or simply it doesn’t like it. Then it ill try to fool you into doing something else
