Building Futures Academy

Began in 1978 in Harlem

By early 90’s in 14 cities and granted $40 mil by HUD

By late 2000’s there were over 200 sites and federally funded by DOL for $120 mil

Today: 273 sites in 45 states, Washington DC, and Virgin Islands

We are among the best, with 91% retention
