Joseph Hundeby is a seasoned education professional who has spent time both as a teacher and as a school administrator..

He believes in utmost importance of education on all levels and prepares pupils for a local and global future. He has many years of education experience and has served at elementary, middle school and high school levels.

He has spent quality time with high school students as the Principal of Verndale Schools. He was the alternative learning teacher at Pine Ridge Schools in South Dakota

Academic Achievements

He was the coach of the Varsity wrestling and track teams at Fillmore Central Schools. On the middle school level,he is the former Assistant Principal at Todd County Schools.

He was also the Middle School Dean of Students at Princeton Schools, as well as the Junior High Principal at Verndale Schools.

Joseph Hundeby is a former fourth through sixth grade teacher. He has administrative experience with this age group, as he has served as the K-8 Principal at Todd CountySchools and as the Elementary Principal at Verndale Schools.

Participations

He has participated in a range of advanced learning classes and has also taken more than a dozen coursesrelating to Special Education.

He has also participated in classes related to behavior and learning intervention strategies; educational technology and software; school improvement and change processes; professional learning communities; and school improvement and technology.

Over the years, Joseph Hundeby has gained extensive military experience and was a member of the National Guard from 1986-2002.

He has received prestigious awards for his military service, and was active during Desert Storm and Operation Noble Eagle.

He passionately follows his hobbies and interests. He enjoys participating in games, coaching players, hiking and skiing. Fishing and camping are also some of his favorite pastimes.
