Waldorf education

• Developed by Rudolf Stainer in 1919.

1. THE RHYTHM

• Rhythm of the day, changing seasons and festival of the year.

• EPOCH

• Things happen in a predictable , regular manner.





2. THE IMITATION

• The teachers are engaged in domestic, practical activities that children can imitate if they want.

• For example: – cooking, – baking, – handicrafts or gardening






3. POWER OF CHILDREN'S IMAGINATION

• POWER OF CHILDREN'S IMAGINATION particular to the age

• It is done by telling carefully selected stories, watercolor painting and by encouraging FREE PLAY.

• This free of scenario play, in which children in due to their own creation, helps them to experience many aspects of life more deeply.

• When toys are used they made from NATURAL MATERIALS.






4. EURHYTHMY

• EURHYTHMY -art and movement therapy, special harmonizing movement mixed with poetry and music.






5. Home-like environment

• We are creating a warm, beautiful and lovely home-like environment, which protective and secure, invite child to explore and play.
