You loved the first iPads in the Middle School Maths Curriculum, so here is the long awaited sequel. This two session workshop will provide more lesson plans and apps for you to use which are specific to different topics within each of the Australian Curriculum Mathematics content strands for Year 5 – 10. This is a stand alone workshop you can still attend if you didn’t participate our earlier PD.

You will need to bring your iPad with the ability to download the apps we

will explore during the day, many are free.

Ms Kirsty WattsKirsty is the Academic Dean of Technology & eLearning at Kilvington Grammar School and is focused on integrating technology into all levels of education. She is a Mathematics and IT teacher and has been integral in the implementation of the 1:1 iPad program at Kilvington.

Kirsty has a Bachelors degree in both Science, with a Major in Mathematical Modelling and Secondary Teaching. She also has a Masters of Information and Communication Technology in Education.Kirsty is one of the owners and consultants for Ubitec Educational Consultants who specialise in ICT Professional Development for schools.

Ms Teresa DeshonTeresa is the Deputy Principal at Kilvington Grammar School, one of the many areas she manages is whole school strategic ICT. Teresa is also an IT and Mathematics teacher at Kilvington.Teresa has a Bachelor and a Masters degree in IT/Education and a Graduate Diploma in Computer Education, and is currently completing a Doctorate in Education.

Teresa is experienced in the development and implementation of 1:1 programs, BYOD and Continuous Online Reporting which she has pioneered at Kilvington. She has extensive experience in the development and delivery of professional learning programs for staff. Teresa is one of the owners and primary consultants of Ubitec Educational Consultants, who specialise in delivering ICT Professional Development programs and course for schools.
