PIED PIPER“Beware of the Piper”
SUBGENRE• Psychological• Focuses on the supernatural and an inhumane girl•Modern
IDEA• Shy, introverted girl called Piper•Moves into a house that she had just bought• Becomes possessed by spirits that reside there• Changes forever
• Title – Pied Piper; Once she has killed her victims then she leaves an image of a flute which signifies her inner loneliness and how abandoned Piper feels as she has never really had anybody to turn to.
INSPIRATIONS• Carrie; This is the girl who my character (Piper) would be
based on. She is a shy, introverted girl who likes to keep to herself. She has minimal friends and likes to walk home alone. • Criminal Minds; t gave me the insight into the specific
psychological horror in which I’ve chosen to do. It also allows me to explore the various types of horrors which people could potentially face (ribs being taken out)• Dark Skies; This gave me the idea of spirits taking over
a humans body and carrying out orders given by the spirit to kill people.
MAIN PLOT• Equilibrium: A girl who doesn’t know who are parents are. She has had
to live in foster care for all her life. Once its time for her to go to university she meets a guy who she likes. She then gets attacked by a group of people while coming out of one of her lectures
• Disequilibrium: The other members on her course of study at university notice that she becomes taking herself away from society. What they don’t know if that Piper wants to secretly kill every member who she thought was involved.
• Resolution: The girl kills one person and then gets admitted to a psychiatric hospital where she soon after escapes and goes on a killing rampage where she removes her victim’s ribs and begins leaving cards which have a picture of a flute on it.
