BECOMING A FAT NATION

Obesity in Children and Adolescents.The problem of obesity in children has

increased significantly in the United States in recent years. Obesity is one of

the easiest medical conditions to recognize but whose treatment is very

difficult en the persons for daily consumption.

Ways to manage obesity in children and adolescents include:

1) start a program of weight control.2) changing eating habits (eat slowly, develop a

routine).3) control portions and consume fewer calories.

4) increasing physical activity (especially walking) and have a standard of living more

active.5) plan meals and make better food choices.

Junk food One reason why teenagers eat junk food every day is because parents

use this resource to assist in economic and faster, so it does not prioritize feeding their children as

important spending on its economy.
