Dalmatian hinterland), then we browsed the internet and talked to experts.

Dalmatian hinterland - a region deprived of the benefits of the sea,

yet in no way inferior or less interesting.

Page 20: I love the sea, stone and dalmatia

The wealth of the region lies in the beautiful

scenery, material and non-material cultural

heritage, sites that are significant for Croatian history, gastronomy ...

Page 21: I love the sea, stone and dalmatia

Dalmatian hinterland has a great potential for tourism, due to its many rivers in the karst,

lakes and mountains…

PUPILS' CREATIVITY

Thanks to this project, pupils slowly revealed their curiosity and creativity while researching the sea and the stone. It served as

inspiration for the creation of posters, themed tasks (crosswords, riddles), as well as music and art motives for writing songs and reading

texts of famous writers which reflect the image of the sunny Mediterranean with olives, cypresses, sea, stone, crickets’ songs thus

nurturing dialect expression and Croatian language in general.

The best project evaluation is the abundance of photographs, informative posters, literary and artistic children's works which were

exhibited in the school.

CONCLUSION

While working on this project, we realized how important Dalmatia is and what a rich history it has.

Dalmatia is not just the sea and stone, Dalmatia is much more than

that.

Dalmatia is a wealth that must be preserved.

Our pupils are still working hard among the stones and pines and without a doubt, we can expect more miracles from them.
