Set up your free accountOr use this link to log into your existing workNet account

Illinois workNet® can offer you many valuable resources. We will begin by setting up your free account.


Select Option 1

You will see the Registration form open.

Fill in all of the fields that appear in RED*

When finished click the Next Step Button


Type a user nameMake it something that you will remember – you can notate it on this form

Enter a password and confirm it – again use something that you will remember.

Select a Secret Question and provide the answer.

Click the box by the “I agree to terms/conditions”

Click the Submit buttonMy username is: My password is: My secret question answer is:


Now, on to using Illinois workNet!

Return to the initial “splash” page, by clicking on the Illinois workNet logo, it will return you to the front page.

Select the Individual pathway

Select Log In to My Illinois workNet account

Use your newly established Username and Password.


Once you have logged in, Your name will appear at the top.

Find a location near you

Find out more about the workforce area in which you live

Review special programs on your welcome page.


News and Events based on a zip code you enter.

Promotions and items of interest appear down the side of each different page.

Link-out symbol means that if you click on this link it will take you to another website.


Numerous ways to access most tools.


Illinois workNet will help you plan and organize.


Glossary icon – if you click this icon it will take you to a definition of the term about which you are inquiring


This feature helps when you find a site that you like and don’t want to have to remember how you found it, or you are on a public computer and can’t save it as a favorite.

This assists by allowing you to make notes about job leads or someone with whom you spoke.
