WHAT IS A HOUSE???A house is a building or structure that has the ability to be occupied for habitation by humans or other creatures. The term house includes many kinds of dwellings ranging from rudimentary huts of nomadic tribes to
complex structures composed of many systems. English-speaking people generally call any building they routinely occupy "home".
HISTORY OF HOUSEThe earliest human being did not have permanent dwelling. Many of them lived in dark caves when it was too cold and when the weather was warm, they lived outside. They generally lived at the entrance of the cave to get
some light and air.Times have changed but even today houses are build to allow maximum light and air. Some places are hot throughout the year, while some places are cold, some are dry, others are wet. Some get rainfall in the summer
season and others in winter.
Houses have to be built in such a style that it protects the people who live in them from the weather.
In hot countries, many houses have sloping shutters to keep out the sun and keep the house cool.
In colder countries, houses have sloping roofs. Snow settles on the sloping roofs of mountain houses and help the houses to keep the heat inside.
In places that get flooded easily, many houses are built on stilts to keep them dry. They also have sloping roofs so that water can slide down and not
accumulate.Houses of different Indian tribes have walls which are decorated in pretty
colours and painted with figures of birds and flowers. They are constructed without bricks, steel, or cement.
