Final Report
Executive Summary
The entire report provides an overview and an evaluation of Hong Kong ICT Awards 2015: Best Student Invention Award. Objective, promotions in different aspects (such as delivered school talks, news, and radio), assessment days, sponsors, award ceremony and post-ceremony activity will be mentioned below.
The report also shows the highlights of this competition and ended smoothly. But there are some rooms for improvements; recommendations will be suggested at the end of the report.
Objective:
• To raise the awareness and importance of the application of Creative Information Technology in education ;
• To provide more opportunities for Hong Kong’s Teenagers to participate in the international or China region Creative Information Technology education related activities ;
• To provide more opportunities for the teenagers to exchange knowledge and experience with different countries

Aim: Bring winner students to visit different spots in Hong Kong to broaden their horizons after the 2015 HKICT Awards competition. It would be an outdoor learning for students to experience Information and Technology this area and a study gives students a solid picture of how or what is happening when seen in the real life.

我很榮幸能夠參與這次由香港新興科技教育協會主辦的參觀活動,這次的參觀令我獲益良多. 這次參觀的地方包括有香港天文台總部, 科學園,城市大學apps lab及香港房屋委員會, 其中尤其喜愛天文台和房委會. 天文台的展覽廳使我了解到更多天文使用到的創新科技, 另外「我的天文台」應用程式的介紹使我了解到背後的運作原理及技術, 對我往後的研究及發明起了重大的作用. 數據中心方面, 天文台和房委會及房署的參觀亦相當開放, 讓我們能夠近距離觀察, 天文台的數據中文「進化」圖, 到現在的NICE系統讓我了解到運算系統的演變歷程, 而房委會及房署的數據中心比較寬敞, 硬件切備亦相對較多, 更多元齊全, 職員講解亦相當詳盡, 令我對行業興趣大增

sponsors next year.• Rehearsal should be remained next year as it was very helpful. • Registration of the ceremony could make it better in future as
this year was in mess. • A number could be assigned to the awardees, so that they could
know when they receive the award.• Technology Visits refer to those students’ feedbacks such as
visit the MTR Corporation Limited, The Kowloon Motor Bus Co.etc
