• As SLT it landed on my desk to coordinate.

• INSET training arranged by SLT - staff unsure of the purpose.

• Limited knowledge of courses available.

• Individual staff training - a minefield of form filling.

• Often courses missed due to time taken for internal application.

FROG.• Coordinating the CPD for the school using data

• Staff – Now have in depth prior knowledge of all INSET training and can prepare for it.

• Staff – Can access a wide range of courses, they can now apply for a course that they think they need.

• Staff – Can apply for individual CPD quickly and easily and know they will get a quick response.

• ME – Once per week I look at applications and make a decision to approve or not.

• ME – INSET is organised well in advance and staff are happy they know what it is about.

• ME – Records of CPD are kept on the spreadsheet generated by FROG. This also includes feedback information from the courses.
