CEN4722 – Assignment 5 What usability problems does Google Glass have? Please list:

1. Nobody wants to use a device on his face2. When other people is looking at you they see the Google

Glass as an intrusive device on the conversation3. When using it people around you think they could be

recorded or watch for creepy purposes making its use something socially awkward

4. You can’t walk around with your device in public places like urinals, movie theaters, casinos or bars.

5. As a product in beta stage had a lot of bugs and failures

CEN4722 – Assignment 5 Why was it not successful (think user experience). Please list reasons:

1. The price was ridiculously overpriced: Google was asking customers to pay $1500 to test a product in development

2. Wearable technology and privacy still generates a lot of concern in people

3. Google glass didn’t put any value on everyday life of people and it has no practical use

4. Battery lasts only 3.5 hours5. The device is seen as privacy threat6. Product looks weird
