Information about idea of “Global Community University

(GCU)”

It is my pleasure to share an idea of establishment of “Global Community University (GCU)”, initially virtual online in its phase ONE and then physical on

campus site in phase TWO (if possible).

GCU (non-profit organization) aims to become a catalyst in uniting nations all-

around the globe via higher educational channel of PhD program, which will

benefits for both PhD students and the appointed supervisors.

From today (8th September 2015), I’ve intention to share frequently asked

questions received by different interested students and potential honorary faculty

members and my replies to them for sharing with others for their knowledge as

well.

Q.1

Is it a kind of distance education type of university if yes where will be labs

located as I am completing my M.Sc. Physics and planning for PhD in Nanotech.

Please guide

GCU will be virtual online in its phase ONE and then physical on campus site in phase TWO subject to getting significant funding… If suppose, we'll get

registration of GCU then you can find lab anywhere on your own efforts and in-charge of that lab will be your co-supervisor while one will be supervisor from

GCU. GCU will also try to have collaboration with different universities for finding practical work places for their PhD students…

Q.2 What are responsibilities of Consul of GCU?

Nothing much just a voluntarily position and if can easily spread words among

students and staff in your region about awareness of GCU idea. By this way those

who like can express on their fb and LinkedIn site or comments like others at this

stage...Later on if get approval of GCU and want to do either PhD, it is up to you,

no obligations...

Q3. Today, one student asked that what is difference in between normal

universities and GCU (under proposal)?

A3. Potential 4/5 benefits of GCU in my mind are followings:

1. Main apparent difference is that normal mainstream university requires

paying high tuition fee, while my idea in GCU is providing academic

courses (PhD ideas/guidelines) free of tuition fee.

2. All those research assistants in their respective countries, who can’t get their

PhD due to their current PhD requirement policies along with research job

can also benefit by it as well. This will be by being able to publish several

articles in ISI listed good journals and as a result they would be able to

receive promotions in their career by having PhD from GCU.

3. GCU will provide higher educational benefit to students in developing

countries to acquire PhD degree along with free assistance-ship to Western

Countries academics (Honorary GCU faculty PhD supervisors) in their

research activities.

4. Consequently, in long term, it will bridge a harmonically pathway of

intellectual exchange and global unity among humanity.

2. No salary to voluntarily supervising staff

3. No call for donation from any one

4. No acceptance of any donation

5. No bank account

6. So driving force of GCU students and honorary staff will be pure and sincere

spirit of globally humanity service in providing online higher education of PhD

program!

Q4 18th Sep 2015. You're friends on Facebook: I want to ask few things regarding

GCU. Most of my juniors are willing to join PhD but due to lack of position and

funds, they are losing their caliber they join some irrelevant jobs. Can they be

registered as a PhD in GCU?

A4.

Thank you for sharing of expression of interest of your friends. GCU is right place

for such type of PhD candidates, who cannot afford financial burden of current

educational system of universities. As you know, our innovative idea is very fresh

and still we're struggling to get its registration. Please send me details of all those

candidates in Excel sheet with their names, e-mail, skype id, weblinks, education,

location etc.. Or they can send directly their CV to me....plus in which subject they

are interested. May be we can try to match them with our honorary supervising

staff from now to initiate synopsis writing, which can be template for first draft of

introduction chapter. In case if we could not get registration then it can be

equivalent to first review manuscript under the supervision of a honorary GCU

supervisor, which they can submit for publication. So this can be a minimum

intellectual benefit for PhD candidates and our honorary GCU supervisors to have

review article in ISI listing journal, which can be based to get scholarship of PhD

in other universities.

How is this image to consider as logo of our GCU or who can modify it better out

of our voluntarily potential students or honorary GCU supervisor please…

Thank you all of my face book friends and “Global Community University

(GCU)” group members, who are asking for output of first information session

regarding registration process of our GCU. I attended this session on 16th

September 2015 at Melbourne, Australia. It was interesting ~ three hours session

with them. They like my innovative idea of establishment of GCU for higher

education program of PhD however requires preparing numerous paper work, its

registration fee and other legal challenges to fulfill their threshold criteria....

Q5. When I would b able to get enrolment for PhD!! May I know?

A5: Not sure because we are currently at a very early phase of looking for

registration process... May be it will take couple of years...but if you can publish

more papers (along with your life journey of study/job etc. in routine), will have

more chances to get PhD scholarship from other universities as well…

Q6. Okay sir got your points and as soon as your idea gets established so students

will get registration from your university itself?

A6. I'm trying either to get independent registration for GCU or at least affiliation

with current established universities...

Q.7 Okay, so you want me to write more and more papers related to my PhD

interest topic and get those papers published soon?

A7: No rush, just slowly work on this aspect (along with your life journey of

study/job etc. in routine), which will be beneficial for your synopsis as well as first

chapter as well...

Comments by potential student: I had a great experience in talking with you

actually sir I have suffering from last year to get enrolled in PhD program but lack

of financial support I am not able to pursue from private universities. But I think

you are doing a great job for students like us thank you so much sir…
