The Muslim league was founded by the admirers, companions, and followers of Aligarh Movement. The founding meeting of the League was held on 30 December 1906 at the occasion of the annual All India MuhammadanEducational Conference, at the Ahsan Manzil Palace, Shahbagh, Dhaka that was hosted by Nawab Sir KhwajaSalimullah. The meeting was attended by three thousand delegates and presided over by Nawab Waqar-ul-Mulk.

The Muslim League was formed on 30th December, 1906 in Dhaka, Bangladesh.

Indian National Congress was formed by Allan Octavian Hume in December 1885.

Its Aims & Objectives were:

1) To seek co operation of all Indians in its efforts.

2) Discuss and solve the social problems of the country.

3) To request the government to give more shares to locals in administrative affairs.

4) To try to form national unity & eradicate the concept of race, creed and provincial prejudices.

Mr. Jinnah joined Muslim League in 1913 and he became the president of all India Muslim league in 1916.

Raja of Mehmodabad was Elected its President & Dr. Maghfoor Ahmed Ajazi was its General Secretary.

First President of All India Muslim League was Sir Agha Khan. And the First Secretary General of all India Muslim League was Molana Hassan Bilghrami.

On December 22, 1939 Muslims of India were under the banner of Muslim League.
