Kidnapper walks down pathway towards shed, one shot from side angle, cuts to shot behind him.

Second black screen, text appears: “IN ASSOCIATION WITH GREYSTONE INC.”

Panning shot of kidnapper moving around gate or wire fence, walks up to door of the shed and closes it behind him

As soon as door closes, another black screen appears: “A MARTIN ROWLANDS FILM.”

Now inside the shed, the kidnapper clicks a light switch and it cuts to the light bulb lighting up as a credit appears as the light dissolves.

Cut to panning shot of the lake, then quickly to a close up of a picture of April before It zooms out and we see there are multiple pictures of her. Credit appears as the camera zooms out.

Cut to April walking down the street as cars pass by

News Reporter voiceover 1: April Lovett, a 10 year old girl from surrey, has been reported missing by her parents after not returning home for 24 hours. Police say they are compiling evidence from her last known whereabouts.

and then while the new reporter is still talking we cut to the same street but from high above and from the kidnappers handheld camera, zooms out slowly. Credit appears during this shot.

April walking down a different street, heading towards an alleyway. Credit appears and another news reporter voiceover, overlaps the end of the last reporter.

News Reporter voiceover 2: Aprils mother says she expected April home from the park around 4:30 but became concerned when she did not return home for several hours.

Black screen, movie’s title appears: “THE PURSUANT”

Back to the alleyway, shot from the back of April as she continues walking, cuts to the front view of her, a credit appears. Another News Reporter voiceover chimes in over the end of the last reporter.

Shaky, handheld camera shot of a river, fairly zoomed in, disorientating. Credit. Cut to inside the kidnappers shed, he sharpens two knives behind a wire fence, by the cork board. Credit. -a voiceover:

News Reporter voiceover 3: Multiple locals, including the neighbors of April’s parents, claim to have heard screams at around 4:30.

A girls scream is faintly heard in the background. Another voiceover overlaps.

News Reporter voiceover 4: There are currently no suspects in the case but the police have asked for any information or witnesses.

As the voiceover plays, we cut to April coming out of the alleyway, credit appears. Back to the kidnappers shed, he drags the knife over a picture of April on the cork board, flashing filter.

News Reporter voiceover 1: Local Parents are supposedly becoming concerned as many believe there may be a pattern occurring due to April being the 3rd girl to go missing in the last 2 years in the county

News Reporter voiceover 5: 10 year old April, is the third girl to go missing in the county in the last 2 years.

While the voiceover plays we have cut to the kidnapper opening a wire fence door in the shed, and dropping rope onto a small bed next to duct tape and some type of child’s toy e.g. a doll.

April walks across road, camera comes closer behind her, eventually turning to the front of her face and we get a quick side profile. Cut back to the kidnappers shed and a sweeping shot of the cork board, getting a closer look at the pictures, credit appears.

News Reporter voiceover 3: If you know anything about Aprils location or disappearance you are encouraged to call your local police station with the details.

April on a swing in park briefly, cuts back to panning shot of the small bed in the shed, made to look like its being filmed from a surveillance camera that has possibly been fitted in the shed. Back to April swinging around on some sort of playground.

News Reporter Voiceover 3: Its now been 2 weeks since the disappearance of April Lovett and the man hunt for her kidnapper continues.

News Reporter Voiceover: The police are baffled and still have no suspects in the case.

April walks down alleyway, jump cuts. Sceen goes fuzzy briefly as Kidnapper enters and follows closely behind. Jump cuts as he walks

News Reporter voiceover: Aprils disappearance has become nationwide knowledge and the outpour of support for her parents continues.

Over the shoulder shot of the kidnapper watching April walk across the park, switches to his handheld camera filming it.

News Reporter voiceover: As the search continues and with there still being no suspects, the nation is left wondering; where is April Lovett?

As the voiceover plays, low angle shot of the kidnaper twirling a dolls hair in his hand, he drops it, black screen, crashing sound.

FIN
