Fibre : A unit of matter characterized by flexibility, fineness, sufficient strength, elasticity and high length to width ratio.

Spinning : Spinning is a process where fibres are converted into yarn.

Yarn : A grouping of fibres twisted together to form a continuous strand.

BLOWROOM

Blowroom is the first of yarn production in the mill spinning.Bales are taken in the blowroom and prepared for the process. The basic operation in the blowroom are:• Opening•Cleaning•Dust removal•Blending•Even feed of material to the card

Page 5: Final ppt 2 copy

BALEPLUCKR LA23/S

• Bales of varying heights can also be easily processed.

• It is very sturdy and robust machine capable of producing production up to 1600 kg/hr.

Page 6: Final ppt 2 copy

VARIO CLEAN LB 9/2The purpose of the condenser is twofold:• To transport cotton fibers

pneumatically in the form of tufts

• To de-dust these tufts at the same time.

The fan produces the air current required to transport the material. The stock is separated from the transporting air by the perforated drum and removed from the drum by the take-off roller . The exhaust air is deflected to the filter unit.

Page 7: Final ppt 2 copy

UNIMIX LB 7/4

Its objectives are:• .• To feed the material to the next

machine for further processing.

FLEXI CLEAN LB 5/6• It is used for cleaning and extracting

dust from cotton of any origin and blends of cotton fibers very gently and effectively.

• The guide plates carry the tufts in a spiral manner over the grid seven times.

• Waste is removed periodically via the air lock roller.
