WHAT IS PERFORMANCE APPRAISAL? Method by which job performance of employees is
evaluated. Purpose of performance appraisal:
1. Give feedback on performance to the employees. 2. Identify employee training needs. 3. Forms a basis for personnel decisions: salary increases, promotions, disciplinary actions etc.
