Film Location Contract

1. The owner hereby grants to Dark Arts Production the exclusive rights to use to occupy the

premises generally described as follows:

For the purpose of the preparation and production of the film titled ‘Senseless’ the production for

Advanced Portfolio Media Coursework.

The rights herein granted include the rights of access to and egress from the Premises for Dark Arts

Production directors/equipment for the purpose of constructing, maintaining and dismantling

temporary photography/filming, sets and structures and/or recording sound for such scenes as Dark

Arts Production may desire.

2. The Owner warrants that the Owner is the owner of the agent of the Premises, which the

Owner is fully authorised to enter into this agreement and has the right to grant Dark Arts

Production the use of and occupancy of the Premises and each and all the rights herein

granted.

3. Dark Arts Production may take possession of the Premises on or about December 2017/

January 2018 and may continue to until the completion of photographing and recording.

Estimated to require about 1 week of shooting. If weather or other conditions are not

favourable for the production on certain dates, the date shall be postponed. The possession

of the premises will be exclusive and production and for filming purposes only.

4. Dark Arts Production may at any time elect not to use the Premises by giving the Owner

written notice,

5. In the event Dark Arts Production desires to photograph retakes or added scenes, Dark Arts

Production may re-enter and use the Premises.

6. Dark Arts Production shall leave the premises in as good condition as when it was before

taking possession. The Premises shall be deemed returned in a satisfactory condition.

7. Dark Arts Production shall cover and hold the Owner harmless from and against any and all

damage and liability for injury of persons and or damage/destruction of the Premises or the

property of the Owner on the Premises caused by Dark Arts Production’s negligence

occurring during Dark Arts Production’s use of the Premises.

8. The Owner hereby grants Dark Arts Production the irrevocable rights to use the

photographs, films, and other recordings of the Premises taken by Dark Arts production

hereunder in connection with Advanced Portfolio Media Coursework which will be uploaded

onto YouTube and other social media platforms-potentially streamed by members of the

public. The rights herein granted include the right to photograph film and otherwise make

recordings of any kind of all structures and signs located on the Premises.

9. This is the entire agreement and may not be altered in any way except by an instrument in

writing signed by parties. No other authorisation is necessary to enable Dark Arts Production

to use the Premises for the purposes herein contemplated.
