Film Concept - Awestruck

Nick and Sean are two best friends living together. Since they’re both teenagers, with growing age and

changing feelings, they’re taking life one step at a time. Nick likes a girl named Emily, who is also his and

Sean’s classmate. Whereas Sean, well, he’s gay and has a secret crush on Nick. Being unaware of the

situation, Nick hopelessly falls for Emily but he is a workaholic so when there are chores to complete

and tasks undone, he shuts the world out until he’s done with it. He even ignores Emily at that point in

time.

The movie starts with Nick waking up from sleep and finds that sean has been holding his hand while

sleeping, this disgusts him a bit and he shrugs his hand off in anger and goes to the washroom. When

Sean wakes up he finds that Nick has gone somewhere without telling him and he gets worried so he

rushes to the community park nearby where he finds Nick and Emily jogging together and they seem

happy. This sight makes Sean jealous and he runs up to nick and grabs his hand, tells him he got worried

and he shouldn’t leave without telling him. Nick gets angry and tells Sean to buzz off.

Then Sean and Nick go back to their place and while Nick is getting some work done, Sean tries to

apologize by holding his hand or giving him a hug, and this irritates Nick. Just when he’s about to scold

Sean, Nick’s phone rings and it’s Emily but Sean picks it up and when Emily tells him that she wants help

with her college assignment he tells her that Nick won’t be available since they both are busy.

This angers Nick more and he shouts at Sean and leave’s to help Emily but as usual Sean tags along.

This way they start hanging out and Emily starts noticing how much Sean cares for Nick etc. And this

makes her think that he’s a nice guy but more than that he’s an amazing friend hence she falls in love

with Sean. But little does she know that Sean is gay and is crushing on Nick and it’s Nick who is very

much into Emily.
