Evaluation question 4 – How did you use media technologies

in the construction, research, planning and evaluation stages?

Media Product – Music VideoFluorescent Adolescent

HARDWARE - CAMERA

We used a Sony HDR handheld camera to film our music video. We used a tripod for steady shots and a fish lens during one shot for a special effect.

HARDWARE - MAC

To edit we used the Apple Mac as it is a very powerful PC with editing programmes already downloaded onto it, as well as access to the internet.

SOFTWARE – EDITING TOOLS

These editing programmes were already installed onto the Mac and were very easy to use. Premiere Pro was used to edit the clips together for the music video and Photo Shop was used for the print artifacts.

SOFTWARE – GREEN SCREEN

We used the green screen when taking photos of the artist so we could edit the pictures of him afterwards with a different background.
