1730 Closing Remarks from Chair and End of Day Two

Why you Cannot Miss this Event:EPC projects require complex design and engineering works; procurement ofspecified equipment and machineries; and a single entity for contract execution. Forthe successful development of any project, it is critical to identify the suitable designsource and how it fits within the overall contracting scheme. There is a constantnever-ending debate on how to fully utilise the three elements of cost, time andquality within every project as these elements have to be strictly monitored andadhered to in all conditions.

The pressure for contractors has always been to deliver the completed facility withina specified guaranteed price and by a guaranteed date. Meeting these levels ofexpectations is no easy task and failure to comply with any of the set requirementswill result in the contractor incurring monetary liabilities. However, because of theirflexibility, value and certainty sponsors and lenders derive from EPC contracts, it isbelieved that EPC contracts will continue to be the pre-dominant form ofconstruction contracts and will be used on large scale infrastructure projects in most jurisdictions.

This 2 day conference will enlighten and prepare you to embark on thecomplex journey involving EPC projects. You will be taken through variouscase studies and expert presentations that act as guides to combat highEPC costs and safeguard your operations throughout the volatile nature ofany project. Attend this conference and gain an in-depth understanding ofthe risks involved while constructing a solid EPC contracting framework togenerate excellent ROI for both contractor and operating company.
