Respecting Differences

The Philippines is laden with fantasticresources that people have alreadyutilized for their own benefit. The countryis gifted with warm and tranquil whitesand-beaches of Boracay, delicatechocolate hills in Bohol, the awesomeUnderground River of Palawan, thebreath-taking Banaue Rice Terraces, andthe charming island of Camiguin, to namea few.

Apart from the natural wonders that are discovered andwonders that still need to be explored, our country isblessed with citizens who refuse to give in to despair.Come hell or high, the Filipinos will brave any challengeor obstacle with faith in God, a heart full of hope andlove, and a soul that will always be resilient.

INFOBITS ABOUT…

Antoine de Saint-Exupery (1900-1944), French writer and aviator.Antoine Marie Jean-Baptiste Roger deSaint-Exupery was born in Lyon andeducated at the University of Fribourg.He joined the French Air Force in 1921and became a commercial pilot in 1926.

His first two books, Southern

Mail (1929; translated 1933) and Night Flight (1931;translated1932), are novels distinguished by a poetic evocation of theromance and discipline of flying, which requires devotion toduty at the risk of death. His later works including Wind, Sand,and Stars (1939; translated 1943) is also read by adults for itsallegorical meaning.
