EGYPT -Some 6000 years ago began new civilisation egypt .-Egypt is basically a large desert.-It was the first civilisation to invent writing.

NILE The Nile provided the main me of transport.The level of the Nile rises every june .In october the water level decreases. He can fishing in the nile with a boat and go to trade.

REGIONS

Egypt have two regions lower partupper part Menes joined the two regions.

GODS

The egyptians had many gods likeRa: the god of the sun.(the most important)-Horus , osiris

The powers of the pharaohs.

-The egyptians pharaohs had absolute power.

-They were like gods for the egyptians.

-They used governors and civil servants to help them govern.

Egyptian society.-It’s divided into the privileged class and the common people.

-The privileged class is made up of high officials, scribes…

-The majority of egyptians were peasants.

Villages and cities.

-Most people lived in small villages.

-Wealthy people had residences.

-The city was where pharaohs and nobles lived.

Tombs in Ancient Egypt.-Only pharaohs and wealthy nobles had large tombs.

-The first tombs were the mastabas and later the pyramids.

EGYPT´SECONOMY

-Was the main economic activity. -The harvests in Egypt were very rich.

-The Egyptians built dikes and canals to irrigate.

-The main crops of Ancient Egypt were wheat and barley , but they also grew fruits and flax.

AGRICULTURE:

-The Nile was important for transport.

-Trade was very important to Egypt, and goods were exported to and imported from countries.

-Egyptians mostly traded grain, linens, papyrus sheets, gold and other minerals.

TRADERS:

-The Egyptians were skilled craftsmen

-They worked with linen textiles, jewelry, pottery, metals and carpentry.

-There wasn´t a money system in Egypt.

CRAFTS:

-Egypt is rich in mineral resources.-Many of these minerals were found in distant, locations in the East and the Sinai desert.-Limestone and granite quarries occurred along the Nile valley.-In the East they mined alabaster emeralds.-There were extensive gold mines in Nubia. Iron was found in upper Egypt.

The egyptians did building for pray gods and for live, also they do buildings for bury the pharaons and familiars.

The hieroglyphics was one of the first written word.The hieroglyphics was used by egypt.
