Adding Music

Once you’ve found the music you want to add to your film on YouTube, click on the URL at the top of the page and copy it.

After you have copied the URL at the top of the YouTube window, find a YouTube converter which will convert your file into an MP3 file.In this case we have used keepvid.com. Next, paste the URL into the bar at the top of the page and then click download.

After you have clicked on download, different file options will appear below. Click on the file option you want to save your music on. In this case save it as a MP3 file. It should then download and be saved onto your desktop.

When you’ve clicked on the music file, this should appear, from the top left hand corner where the title of the file appears, drag it to the audio section of the timeline shown below. You can then shorten the clip and replicate it when and where you want.

To add music onto Premiere, drag the music file, which you downloaded and saved, from your desktop into the box above on the top left hand corner.
