Definition of EthicsEthics, also known as moral

philosophy, is a branch of philosophy that involves systematizing, defending and recommending concepts of right and wrong conduct.

Ethics seeks to resolve questions dealing with human morality—concepts such as good and evil, right and wrong, virtue and vice, justice and crime.

Computer EthicsComputer Ethics is a branch of

practical philosophy which deals with how computing professionals should make decisions regarding professional and social conduct.

The concept of computer ethics originated in 1950 when Norbert Wiener, an MIT professor and inventor of an information feedback system called "cybernetics", published a book called "The Human Use of Human Beings" which laid out the basic foundations of computer ethics and made Norbert Wiener the father of computer ethics.

CopyrightCopyright laws are designed to

protect the entellectual property of authors, music writers, artists, web designers, etc., so that their own work isn’t stolen for someone else’s profit.

In computer sector that will be codes, some digital records, web designs…

Basic Rules of Computer Ethics

1. Do not use computer to harm other users.

2. Do not use computers to steal other’s information

3. Do not access files without the permission of owner.

4. Do not copy copyrighted softwares without the authors permission.

5. Use Internet ethically.6. Do not use other user’s computer

resources without their permission.
