Headroom:Headroom refers to the distance between the top of the subject's head and the top of the frame.

Anticipatory Framing

• To achieve good lead room when panning to follow a person moving e.g. walking, you need to be able to correctly execute anticipatory framing.

• Anticipatory framing requires you to anticipate the direction of your subject’s movement and move the frame fluidly to constantly ensure sufficient headroom and lead room.
