Pauliina started Teakwon-Do when she was 15 years old. She got into the Finnish national team when she was 19. She has also danced ballet and other dances, played football, ice hockey, tennis, golf etc. She won the gold medal in the World Championships in Taekwon-Do in 2013. She says it is hard to imagine a life without Taekwon-Do.

comes from County Wicklow. Katie started
boxing when she was 11 years old and since
gone on to win 19 gold medals in both
European and World Championships includ-

Robert Lewandowski – a Polish footballer, born in Warsaw in 1988. He began his international career in September 2008, taking part in a World Cup qualifying match in 2010. During the match with San Marino he scored his first goal for the Polish team. In 2010 Lewandowski joined Borussia Dortmund. Having scored 103 goals in 185 games for Dortmund, Lewandowski completed a swoop to arch-rivals Bayern Munich in the summer 2014.

Agnieszka Radwanska became the first Polish tennis player to win a WTA title and the first to reach a Grand Slam final in the Open era. She was born in 1989, in Krakow, Poland and she began playing tennis when she was 4. After winning several top junior championships, she starred at Wimbledon and became the first Polish player in the modern era to reach the final of a Grand Slam. The 2013 season was also successful for the Polish star, who added three more titles. In 2014, she hired Martina Navratilova as her coach.

Blanka is one of the best high jump athletes in the history of athletics. She became the winner of two world championships, gained the silver medal at the Olympic Games in Beijing 2008 and has jumped over two metres 162 times across 103 meetings. Her significant jump of over 208 centimetres is the second best result in the history of the high jump. Blanka Vlašić was born in Split, Croatia, on 8 November 1983 and got her name after the city of Casablanca in Morocco. Blanka’s sports talent was noticed very early, when she was only 7 years old. Marin is a Croatian professional tennis player whose biggest success to date is having won the 2014 US Open. So far Čilić has won 13 ATP singles titles. His career-high singles ranking is World No. 8, achieved in October 2014. Nicknamed “Chila” by his friends, began playing at age 7 with his cousin. Marin was born 28 September 1988.
