DESCRIPTION

This is presentation is an introduction to the Encyclopaedia Indica Kids: Culture and Ecology, a National Folklore Support Centre project to introduce to children the ways in which culture and ecology produce each other. The formats to do this will include animated folk art, folk tales, entries with scientific information and the role various species of plants, animals and birds play in ritual, myth and folklore. The presentation is illustrated with art collected for animating various folk tales in the Encyclopaedia.
