DESCRIPTION
Slides used by Sue Merriman, Brereton Big Local, in the presentation she gave at a workshop on ‘Getting and keeping people involved’ organised as part of the Local Trust programme of networking and learning events for Big Local residents. The workshop was held on 30th October 2013 in Brinnington Big Local area, Stockport. Sue’s presentation was one of three short presentations from Big Local areas on different ways they’d approached getting and keeping people involved. To start off, we created a brand new logo to help people recognise who we are.
We’ve designed banners for us to use at events across the area.
Designed a leaflet to be sent out to each house in Brereton to gain information from residents and help spread the word.
We have also had ideas to potentially expand our marking, such as creating car stickers and creating advertising to use in newspapers and local advertising magazines.
