DESCRIPTION
Bloc teaches web development and web design. This past November we partnered with KIPP Heartwood Academy in San Jose, CA to teach the entire middle school an hour of code. We started by focusing on examples of how software is eating the world in order to demonstrate what students can do with coding. We used examples such as Google's Self-driving cars, 3D printed pizza, and ThreadFlip to demonstrate the power of software.
