Signs The Bully Is Your Student
•Quickly closes screen or program when you walk by.
•Uses the computer at all hours of the night.
•Gets unusually upset if he/she cannot use the computer.
•Laughs excessively while using the computer.
•Avoids discussions about what they are doing on the computer.
•Uses multiple online accounts or using an account that is not their own.

What Students Should Do If They Are Being Bullied
•Tell Someone right away
•Don’t open the message or read it
•Tell your school officer or the local police
•Contact your ISP (Internet Service
Provider) •Protect yourself! Never meet with anyone you have met online that you don’t personally know.
How to Prevent Cyberbullying• Never give out private information; phone numbers, passwords, full name or school name.
• Use Netiquette! Be polite to all cyber humans.
• Do not send messages when angry.
• Delete messages from people you don’t know.
