Interactivity – Links to social media to share your views on the film, dropdown

menu to navigate, option to turn the sound on/off, option to register for updates on the film and upcoming ones from Warner Bros.

Content – Shows rating from ‘Rotten Tomato’ – well known critics. Features

people’s tweets about the film. Shows a video when you first go on the website –short gif from a part of the film, which becomes a still once you’ve been on the page long enough. Shows critics reviews – bigs up the film.

Navigation – Drop down menu in the top corner of the page which is how

people navigate from one page to another. The page names are hyperlinked to the page it takes you to. Return to the homepage by going on the dropdown menu.

Multi Media – There is initially a gif/video as the background of the homepage.

Once the video has played, it turns into an image. Multi-media is limited on the homepage, however it has links to pages such as the gallery which would have ranges of media.

Media Language – Links to the film by featuring the female protagonist who is

haunted. Includes her costume which looks worn and dated – implies the specific scene.

Interactivity – Links to social media to share views on the film, such as

twitter, facebook, instagram and tumblr. Especially, Snapchat where they will post updates on the film.

Content – Shows that it’s a part of ‘Lionsgate Horror’ which is highly

credited. The background of the page is constant clips from the film, which just continues once all clips have been seen. It is quite a plain website, it doesn’t have a lot of content – sticks to the basics.

Navigation – There is no drop down menu, like there is on the conjuring

website. This home page is much more plain, only having three headers, each linked to a new page.

Multi Media – The background features clips from the film as you stay on

the website’s home page. The headers are hyperlinked, taking you to the specific page and when you hover over the ‘Lionsgate’ ident at the bottom, you get a pop up featuring more options to look at.
