Early Years

He was born on March 14,1879. In Ulm, Germany. Albert’s life started out slow. His parents were worried that he would not become the smart man he is. His father gave him a compass at a young age, and he found interest in the natural world. At age 10, Albert’s new friend, Max Tulmad, who gave him a science book as a gift, which also interested him even more in science and the natural world.

Education

Albert Einstein did attend public elementary school as a kid, but often skipped school to teach himself at his own high-paced learning speed. His teachers often got angry at him because HE knew more than the TEACHER!!! He must have been really smart!! His family then moved to Italy, but he stayed in Germany to finish school. He then moved to Switzerland to attend the Swiss Polytechnical College, a very good school.

Accomplishments

His explanation of how light comes in photons changed the way scientists think about light

He explained the “Brownian Motion” which proved to everyone that molecules exist

He discovered and explained the dynamics of individual moving bodies

Probably the most important, he discovered and explained nature and science to everyone
