Learning outcome :
By the end of the lesson, pupils will be able to measure and compare volume of liquids .
Prior knowledge:
pupils have learnt how to compare objects – more or less, many or few, high or low during their previous lesson.
Teaching aids :
* different shape of containers of water* measuring containers
Procedure:
a teacher divide the class into groups of three pupils. Let them work in their cooperative groups b appoint one pupils to be recorder in group.
c teacher shows four different container of water, asks pupils which container has more volume.

For ‘ guessing ‘and ‘order of volume’Fill ‘1’ for the biggest volume, ‘2’ for the second and so on.
e teacher let each group take their teaching aids to measure and compare the volume
f pupils take the measuring container to measure the volume of four different containers of water.
h pupils record the volume of water for each different containers in descending order.
i after the experiment, pupils tell the teacher which container has the most volume and the least volume in descending order.
Conclusion :
pupils will learn the volume of liquid is not simply look at its height.
