Who is ACPET?
The Australian Council for Private Education and Training (ACPET) is the national industry association representing private providers of post-compulsory education and training to both Australian and International students, including :
• higher education• vocational education• English language courses
About ACPET
Established in 1992
Over 1100 member organisations nationwide:
• Delivering a full range of higher education, vocational education and training and English language courses
• Delivering to students in all states and territories

ACPET supports e-learning…
• ACPET has a long history in engaging private providers in elearning through the Australian Flexible Learning Framework.
• Funding has enabled professional development training for over 800 workshops and Start Up Group participants from over 400 RTOs nationally.
• ACPET Victoria, with the support of the State Government, has funded professional development for more than 300 RTO staff involved in over 50 funded project teams and mentoring groups.
The ACPET–Victorian Government E-learning Program

•RTOs progressed from the beginner stream to the intermediate stream •Development of Extension Stream•RTOs have competed successfully for funding from the Australian Flexible Learning Framework (Innovations, Portfolios and New Technolgoy Trials)

-Current web repository project responsibilities include participant pre and post interviews to document technical and ICT skills. -Online mentoring to monitor creation and population of online space. -Manage online ‘Community of Practice’ and trial to mobile devices.
Experience includes - Creation of industry online content during 2008 in ‘Building Passive Capacity’ for the Australian Flexible Learning Framework and converting content from the Training and Assessment toolbox for the FPA Australia ‘Assessor Online’ project. Project Trainer and Auditor Vicnet - the online arm of the State Library of Victoria.
