WHAT SOCIAL GROUPS DOES OUR FILM REPRESENT?

• Our film represents three different social groups, these groups include alcoholics, police and adults

HOW DOES OUR FILM REPRESENT EACH SOCIAL GROUP?• Alcoholics- Our film represents alcoholics as the main character in the film Detective Parker is an alcoholic police detective, who due to his obsessive drinking, detective parker struggles to keep and maintain his job and status let alone his on life. This is due to the psychological problems detective parker faces, which can represent reasons for why people start drinking and eventually become alcoholics.

- I know alcoholic are not usually considered a social group however they do belong to a social group that are mostly associated with drug users and people who take part in minor crimes, i.e. low life's or miscreants.

HOW DOES OUR FILM REPRESENT EACH SOCIAL GROUP?• Police- Police are represented in our film because two of the

characters are members of their local police force, one recently mentioned Detective Parker and another who is just a side character.

- The police are mainly represented through the side character who calls up Detective Parker to inform him of a new case, this is because the character is very formal and follows orders and protocol like other police officers despite detective parkers feudal attempts to sarcastically get out of going in.

HOW DOES OUR FILM REPRESENT EACH SOCIAL GROUP?• Adults - Our film product represents adults as the main characters are adults

although the actors playing the are teenagers portraying adults. - Our characters represent adults in many ways some examples of these are

how the characters are dressed, the characters costumes especially the police caller are very well dressed in shirt and tie and other formal wear including fedoras and waist coats. Another way the characters represent adults is through the way our actors vocally present their characters as Callum who plays detective Parker is very laid back lazy and extremely sarcastic, which can be seen in American adults behaviour, where as the police call played by Cameron represents the seriousness and classy speech tone of a Englishman.
