Awarding Credit

• In EOC courses in middle and high school, credit is awarded at the end of the year:

– Average of 3 six-week or 2 nine-week grading periods = 75% of grade

– Semester exam = 10% of grade

– EOC test = 15% of grade*• *Credit will be marked ―pending‖ until EOC scores

are received.

• TEA will send scores to school districts in June—specific date TBA.

Graduation Program Requirements

(Default program for all NISD students; required

by all 4-year colleges in Texas)

Must take all 12 EOC tests.

Must meet cumulative score requirements in each of

the four core subject areas.

Must achieve Level II Satisfactory Academic

Performance on the Algebra II and English III EOC

tests.
