In India, the RBSFI’s Livelihood projects are aimed at strengthening communities income generating abilities through…………………

A- Training them to better manage their assets. For example via farming or eco-tourism, and

stimulating improved market linkages and get better prices for their produce. RBSFI’s presently have 15 projects across 11 states, reaching more than 63,000 poor women.

B- Building capability to support enterprise.

RBSFI’s Technical Assistance Program in India focused on building robust and creditworthy microfinance institutions in the underserved regions of the country.

Working in partnership with MicroSave, an International Microfinance consultancy

RBS provided 12-18 month of support to nascent MFIs.

The programmed has worked with 36 MFIs across 13 states of India, increasing the reach of microfinance to more than 100,000 additional poor families.

A- An Eco-tourism Project in Sunderbans, West Bengal.

B- Carbon Trading initiatives – it is working to indulge villagers in Maleghat region of Maharashtra in carbon trading initiatives like tree plantation and afforestation.

Along with that, helping local villagers in Maharashtra’s Melghat region develop a 2,500 hectare area for forestation for the purpose of carbon sequestration and trading.

RBSFI is committed to enhance employee engagement by involving our employees in Community Investment Initiatives.

RBSFI enable employees to give back to society and the foundation strives to make this possible.

Employee Engagement through ‘Community Investment Programmes’ such as Community Cashback, Give As You Earn and Global Employee Recognition Scheme.

The Foundation offer a range of meaningful voulanteering and fundraising opportunities and grants under its Employee Engagement programme.
