ABSTRACT

The article discusses the cost analysis of energy-

efficient production on the textile industry. It is said

that the discovery of new supplies and alternative

energies help improve textile operations, yet they are

costly in development and extraction. Globalization

under fierce competition is an energy cost factor

which resulted to low market prices for

yarns, thus, low margins on the textile industry.

Costs of resources to save energy for spinning

operation is explored. The innovative concepts

and intelligent components to reduce energy

consumption are also discussed.
