Sure You Can Sell It Yourself BUT did you know:

It’s more than just putting a sign in your yard Calls all hours of the day & night Making sure you have time to SHOW the house to

perspective buyers It’s the law that ANYONE (except those that never lived in the

dwelling) selling a home MUST disclose ALL information about the home (even FOR SALE BY OWNERS)!

Making sure someone is Qualified to buy your home without wasting your time.

What IS a REALTOR?Great question! A Realtor is someone that works for themselves under a

Brokers license. MOST Realtors ONLY work under a Commission! We DO

NOT get paid by the hour nor do we get paid if your house DOES NOT SELL!

Realtors Do NOT get the FULL commission! Realtors have to Pay for all their own Marketing, Office

Space, Taxes, Gifts, and Gas. Realtors have to LOVE THEIR JOBS and be great at TIME

MANAGEMENT!

The Agent Receives A Check for $2,550

The Agent Has To Pay Out Of Their Commission Check:

TAXES - so automatically take out about 30% GAS - to travel back and forth showing the property and meeting with the sellers

MARKETING - paying to make flyers, mailing postcards, websites, newspapers, gifts to clients, ect….

TIME - how much is my time worth? What if a property sells really fast (GREAT I make a Profit BUT what if it takes 3 months or longer? If after I take all the above off my check what I am left with might be less than the minimum wage!)

Preparation:

Before I go visit a potential seller I make sure I know everything about the home.

• How much it was bought and sold for over the years

• I check the deed to see who actually owns it

• I pull comps. of other homes in the area with similar features to see what they sold for or didn’t sell for.

• I prepare my presentation to you the client in hopes of earning your business.

The Job Does Not Stop at Getting the Listing

Some think that sticking the sign in the ground and waiting for a sale is all we do. Not me I work from the time I get up till the time I go to bed. Making sure all the marketing is up to date with always

checking the web sites, keeping up with flyers and updating photos.

Checking email for any leads and calling to see if I can set up a showing.

Receiving calls at all hours of the day from prospective buyers and answering all questions.
