periodic rectification action
Inspection of HT/LT lines, cutting of tree
branches touching the lines
This is a continuous process. Prunning of tree
braches are taken up in a planned way toensure minimum load shedding.
Replacement of damaged stays Whenever such cases are noticed, it is being
replaced.
Repairing of tilted poles if any On priority it is being done.
Restringing of conductors where there
is inadequate clearance as per I.E. rules
Restringing of conductors are being taken up
to increase the clearance. There are also very
old lines with long span and due sagging the
clearance becomes inadequate. In order to
avoid this we are in process to replace such
conductors with new conductors and to set
clearance we are putting intermitant poles.
