INTERNATIONAL VISITOR ARRIVALS, TOP 15 MARKETS, JAN-JUN 2016IVA:8.2 MILLION (+13% VS JAN-JUN 2015)
The top five markets accounted for 55% of total IVA in January to June 2016.
China, Indonesia and India registered the largest absolute year-on-year growth while
Malaysia and Hong Kong posted year-on-year declines.

What is it?
The SkillsFuture Study Award encourages Singaporeans to develop and deepen specialist
skills needed by future economic growth sectors or in areas of demand.
Successful applicants will receive a monetary award of S$5,000, which can be used to defray
out-of-pocket expenses associated with the course.
Who is it for?
The Study Awards are for early to mid-career Singaporeans who are committed to
developing and deepening their skills in key sectors and have relevant working experience
in such sectors.
For Tourism, Study Awards are available for the MICE, Hotel, Travel Agent and Tourist Guide
Sectors.
