Thanks to all the Auxiliary Members, Post Members and everyone who had donated or
helped in anyway the past year with the functions the Auxiliary had sponsored.
The past three months have been hard on all of us, but we are now ready to dive into all
the great work the Auxiliary does for our Veterans, families, and community.
We will announce the dates when we will be having bingo begin again after our meeting on
Thursday, July 9, at 7PM.
We will also be following the guidelines as to when we can begin our sub sales and other
fundraisers.
Please consider donating for the wall projects as usual and we will begin with the patriotic
theme this month. All funds raised with go into our relief fund for projects we will be
sponsoring in the future.
We will be having elections and installation at this month’s meeting. Please plan to attend.
We all want to welcome everyone back. We know there was 3 long months, but now we
need to rebuild and get West York Memorial VFW Post 8951 back into good running order.
Here are some dates to look at to celebrate: July 4th Independence Day, July 27th Korean
War Veterans Armistice Day(1953), July 29th Anniversary of the Army Chaplain Corps.
July 21st we have our post meeting at 7:30pm. At this meeting there will be nominations,
elections, and installation of officers. Please make sure you attend.
HAPPY 4TH OF JULY
Yours in true Comradeship,
Richard Olvitt Lloyd W. Greenwood,

tion

From the Commander:
Stewards Corner Hello again and welcome to my little cor-
ner of the world. I’ve been stuck home in
my little corner with nowhere to go like
many of you. We are now open and ready
to serve you. Hopefully you’re ready to
get out of the house and back into society.
We would like to be part of that transition,
back into the old normal. We expect
things will be slow as we are heading into
the summer already. Our dining room is
open and specials are planned. The only
thing missing is you.
Summer dining rooms hours are as fol-
lows:

Thursday 4pm-8pm
Friday 4pm-9pm
Saturday 4pm-8pm
We are open for breakfast Saturday and

open for food Sundays 11:30am-6:30pm.
We also have Monday night food planned
as well for $2.95 starting at 5:30.
Have a happy and safe 4th of July. Re-
minder the kitchen is closed the 4th of
July.
I always end by saying hope to see
you soon, but I’d rather be saying wel-
come back.
