GRADE : KG 1 WEEK: 5th April – 7th April, 2016
Weekend Communique
“A, B, C, D, E, F, Gee!!” This has been the refrain ringing in the halls of KG
1 since the children have joined. What a lot of fun we had in our first two
days! The children were warmly welcomed on 6th April – their first official
day of school.
A whole array of activities were lined up for the little ones to dive straight
into. Besides singing rhymes and songs, they made crowns to proudly
wear home.
They were also introduced to classroom routines and simple rules to
enable them to have a safe and secure time in school. They went on a
short school tour where they met the Principal, Vice-Principal and the
Head of Kindergarten. This was planned to help them get familiar with
their home away from home. They received stars and lollipops as
motivation for settling down so well on their first day of school.
Please note this reminder from STS - you need to inform the STS
representatives at school in case of area/location change, minimum 2
days prior. This is for STS to ensure that your child arrives at the new
address safe and sound. For this purpose, please route the requests
through the STS representatives and not the drivers or conductors. Also, if
you intend to collect your child early, a request for early dispersal must
reach the school by 10.00am.
We look forward to working with you for the benefit of your child, for it is
only with your co-operation that we can provide the very best
educational experience. Together, let’s pledge to work through
challenges towards achievements that we can excitedly share in. Here’s
looking forward to many more happy times ahead.
