Activity 8
Let’s make and decorate eggshells to make plant pots. Then you can watch your plants grow.
You need: eggshells (coquilles d’œufs), potting soil (terreau), grass or bean seeds (graines de gazon ou de haricots), markers, glue, small squares of cardboard (carton).
1. Clean the eggshells and dry them.
2. Glue a square of cardboard under one eggshell.
3. Take your markers and decorate the eggshell.
4. Put potting soil in the eggshell (half of the egg).
5. Put seeds in (many for grass; two or three for beans).
6. Cover the seeds with soil and pour a little water.
7. Start again with the other eggshells.
8. Wait a few days: plants will grow in your eggshells!
