TRAVELSMART
‘A joint Australian, State and Territory Government Initiative under the National Partnership Agreement on Preventive Health’
TravelSmart to workPromoting active transport in your workplace
Your organisation will benefit from enabling employees and clients to make active, sustainable travel choices.
There are alternatives to driving alone to work and for trips during the work day. Walking, cycling and public transport can be active, affordable options. Avoid trips by using telecommunications. Where a car is needed, carpool.
To boost the health of the workforce, tackle local traffic congestion and reduce pollution it is time for us to do things smarter.
TRAVELSMART WORKPLACEThe TravelSmart Workplace program is helping workplaces – including businesses, government agencies, local councils, hospitals and universities – promote active and sustainable travel choices.
