TheTimelessMelodiesFoundationforEducation,Inc.hasbeencreatedtodevelop,promote,andadvancethestudyandunderstandingoftheroleplayedbyAmericansongintheculturaldevelopmentofoursociety.Ourpresentationsaredesignedtoincreaseandenhancetheawarenessofthegeneralpublicwithregardtotherich,historicalsignifi-canceofourAmericanmusicaltradition.Assuch--vialecture,livemusic,andaudioandvideoexcerpts--werecountthelifestoriesandcareerhighlightsofthosewhocomposedthemusic,wrotethewords,orperformedtheclassic,popularmelodiesandlyrics.Thesearethemenandwomenwhohaveimmeasurablyinformedourlivesandworld...andwhoseaccomplishmentsremainthestandardtowhichallothershaveaspiredorbeencompared.

Description:ThisisasurveycourseinthelifeandmusicofColePorter.
